FOODS THAT BOOST AND KILL YOUR LIBIDO.
# THE BOOSTERS….
*BROCCOLI – I know that broccoli may not be to everyone’s taste, but this green veg definitely has it’s benefits. Broccoli has a high Vitamin C content which aids in blood circulation to your organs. Naturally good blood circulation can only help when it comes to getting your sexual organs going. Broccoli has also been associated with improving the female libido. Like most veg, broccoli is at it’s most nutritious raw, but if you’re not game enough try introducing it to your stirfry’s or even to a green smoothie.
*CLOVES – Cloves are a sex superfood! This versatile spice can be brewed into teas, infused in an exotic dish or used in desserts. They have been used in India as a treatment for erectile dysfunction for centuries. Cloves can also be used to rid you of bad breath, which can only help you when kissing during your bedroom romps.
*FIGS – Not only are figs delicious but they can also make you simply irresistible to your potential playmate or lover. Figs are considered to be fantastic stimulants of fertility and can enhance the secretion of pheromones. *OYSTERS – Whilst oysters have been deemed the ultimate aphrodisiac they can also kill your libido. *PROCESSED BAKED GOODS – I realise a lot of us out there love a good baked good but they can really screw with your sex drive. Baked goods are full of saturated trans fats that can really create trouble for your cells and immune system. They can surround your cells lowering blood sugar and dropping your libido. These fats can also clog ventricles reducing oxygen to your sexual organs. Now I highly doubt that anyone wants reduced oxygen to their sexual organs, yikes, sounds dangerous!
*DAIRY – This is a sad one for me as I’m a massive ice cream fan! The lactic acid in dairy along with other oxygen destroying elements can quash your libido. So try to limit your creamy cravings to a max of three times a week. The problem is is that calcium a main factor of dairy, is also linked to cell and sexual health. Healthy cells increase sensitivity and circulation to your genitalia allowing for more pleasure. So how to fix this issue, stock up on other calcium rich foods such as leafy greens, broccoli, sprouts and cabbage.
