FIVE PLACES TO MEET NEW PEOPLE IN SYDNEY.
ONE- Sydney’s cafes on weekend days are a hive of activity. From 8am in the mornings all over Sydney people are having breakfast and lunch so naturally cafes would be a great place to meet people. What better way to strike up a conversation with someone while waiting in line for coffee and croissants.
TWO- Whether in the morning or in the afternoon, taking a walk in the park with a beloved pet is always a sure fire way to strike up conversations with people. It’s a surprisingly good way to pick up!
THREE– I love going to the organic markets on a weekend morning. There’s always great food to be found, and waiting in line for that food can sometimes find people asking for recommendations on what’s good to eat. The bonus is that there can sometimes be a lack of seating to enjoy that food so you may end up having to share with the person you’ve spoken to in the line.
FOUR- Sydney’s beaches, what an absolutely obvious summer meeting place. Sexy people walking around half nude, of course you’d end up chatting up the hot guy or girl that’s buying ice cream next to you!
FIVE- Summer in Sydney is the time for festivals. Sun shining, beats blasting and drinks flowing. You can literally get talking to anyone, festivals are simply the perfect Sydney meeting place in summer.
So why stick to night time haunts when Sydney has so many daytime venues to take advantage of.
