POSITION OF THE WEEK...THE YOGI.
The first version of the yogi puts the woman in what looks to be a slightly uncomfortable position. To get into position the woman lays down on the bed, or other surface, on her back and raises herself with her arms to create an arch with her back. The male in a straight kneeling position can then enter her. This version of the yogi is usually described as the upside-down doggie-style position. It’s a handy position for any woman who’s ever felt a bit claustrophobic at having her head pushed into a pillow when doing conventional doggie-style. Mind you this position may find some women feeling a little awkward in the way her neck ends up while doing this version.
The second version of the yogi position is a more intimate woman-on-top sex position that combines elements of yoga. To get into position the male sits in a yoga meditation cross-legged pose. The woman then sits in his lap with her legs wrapped around his body. This position is a very sensual and romantic position where the couple rocks together in unison to reach climax. It’s a pose that’s used in tantric sex amongst couples willing to explore their sexuality above and beyond the conventional realms of sex. I find this version of the yogi to be extremely nurturing as both couples are in poses akin to a foetal positon.
So whether you’re wanting the more physically flexible version of the yogi or the more romantic side of the position, both are sure to be an exciting endeavour.
